Job description

Regional Trainer - North West and Scotland

Application Deadline: 23 October 2026

Department: Senior Management and Leadership

Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time

Location: Remote

Compensation: £36,500 / year

Description

Regional Trainer - North West England & Scotland

Up to £35,600

Car Allowance : £5,200

We're looking for an energetic and people-focused Regional Trainer to drive impactful, compliance focused learning across our region. This hybrid role (1 day from home, 4 days at sites throughout the North West of England and Scotland area) offers the perfect balance of hands-on support and effective planning and delivery. A £5,200 PA car allowance is granted for this role due to the extensive travel involved.

You'll work closely with teams and leaders to identify needs, lead engaging training, and build a strong culture of continuous learning. Your onsite presence will be key to building relationships and supporting performance, while your remote day will focus on planning, content creation, and continuous improvement.

As this role requires extensive travel a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle is essential. Travel will predominantly be in and around the North West of England, however on occasion travel to our sites in Scotland is expected.

Interviews will be held week commencing 2nd November.

Please note: Internally, this role is known as Regional Learning Partner, and this is the job title stated in your contract.

What you'll be doing

You will deliver high-quality training across First Aid, Fire Marshal, and People Handling (Levels 1 and 2) through both face-to-face and virtual platforms, adapting delivery to meet evolving business needs. Alongside this, you'll design and facilitate engaging webinars and learning sessions to support development across the region.

Covering the North West and Scotland, you'll travel to deliver training and ensure compliance, using Learning Management System (LMS) data to identify gaps and plan activity. You'll build strong relationships with stakeholders, manage training administration, and contribute to the ongoing development of learning materials in line with legislation and best practice.

Working collaboratively with the wider L&OD team, you'll support attendance and compliance, respond to feedback, and ensure training remains relevant, effective, and aligned with organisational standards and policies.

What you'll bring to the role

You’ll have a strong understanding of healthcare and be confident delivering training across face-to-face, virtual, and blended environments.

Organised and self-motivated, you'll be able to manage competing priorities, use data to plan effectively, and take ownership of your region. You'll be confident using Microsoft Office, Teams, Zoom, and Learning Management Systems to support delivery and monitor compliance.

With strong communication and interpersonal skills, you'll build effective relationships across all levels, working both independently and collaboratively. You'll bring experience in designing and delivering engaging training, with the flexibility to adapt to different audiences and needs.

A proactive, solutions-focused approach is key, alongside flexibility to travel across your region (with occasional overnight stays) and a commitment to maintaining high standards and continuous professional development.

What we will give you in return

We want you to succeed at Priory and thrive in your role. You will be well supported with regular career conversations. We also offer full training and numerous pathways into leadership and qualified clinical positions to help you shape your career with us.
