Job summary

Stirling Warrington Ltd is seeking a Lift Technician to cover Scotland. The role involves managing a regional service team, attending breakdowns and carrying out servicing and maintenance, with a focus on first-time fixes and customer support.

The ideal candidate holds NVQ Level 3 and Level 4 in Lift Engineering with at least 2 years in a lift service role, and a valid UK driving licence. Travel across Scotland is required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 and NVQ Level 4 in Lift Engineering are required.
• At least 2 years' experience in a Lift Service/Maintenance Engineer role.
• Proficient in fault finding, diagnosis and repair on Passenger and Goods lifts.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage a lift service engineer team in Scotland.
• Attend lift breakdowns and perform planned servicing and maintenance.
• Provide service and PPM work at customer sites.
• Offer technical support and advice to customers to maximise first-time fix rate.
• Maintain a professional image as a company ambassador on site.
• Travel across the coverage area.

We are a well-known and established Lift Service, Installation and Repair company. Due to our ever-growing lift service portfolio, we are looking for a Lift Service Engineer to cover Scotland.

Key Responsibilities of the successful Lift Technician

• Management of your own lift service engineer in Scotland
• Attend lift breakdowns and undertake planned servicing and maintenance work.
• Providing Service and PPM work at customer sites
• Provide technical support and advice to customers andmaximise the first-time fix rate
• Maintain a professional image at all times as you’re a company ambassador on site
• Technical work and visits
• Travelling throughout the coverage area

Key requirements of the successful Lift Technician

• NVQ Level 3 and NVQ Level 4qualified in Lift Engineering
• 2 years of experience in a Lift Service / Maintenance Engineer position
• Relevant qualifications for the position, e.g. J Modules
• Proficient with fault finding, diagnosis and repair on either/both Passenger and Goods lifts
• Self-motivated, reliable, and organised
• Full UK driving licence and prepared to travel with the role
