Job summary

thyssenkrupp Elevator is seeking an experienced Regional Technician to join the Scotland division, covering Glasgow and Edinburgh. You will repair and maintain client elevators across the region and provide technical support to engineers.

The role requires strong fault-finding skills, NVQ4 in Lift Engineering, and a full UK driving licence. You will work with a proactive team and contribute to safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• NVQ4 in Lift Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel within the region.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong initiative and teamwork in a customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Repairing and maintaining clients' elevators across the regional area.
• Diagnose faults and conduct technical assessments.
• Provide technical support across the region to engineers.
• Servicing and maintaining lift parts and replacing as needed.
• Out of hours work on a pro rata basis.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Regional Technician to join our Scotland division based in the central belt (Glasgow and Edinburgh), who will be responsible for repairing and maintaining our clients' elevators across their region.

As a Regional Technician, your day to day will include:

• High knowledge of fault finding and technical assessments
• Provide technical support across the region, supporting engineers
• Servicing and maintaining lift parts
• Repairing or replacing lift parts
• Out of hours work on a pro rata basis

• NVQ4 in Lift Engineering or Equivalent qualifications
• Hold a full UK Driving License and able to travel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to use your initiative and work well with others
• Positive attitude and receptive to change
• Extremely organised
• Superior customer-care skills
• The ability to self-assess and take ownership of personal development
• An advocate for H&S regulations in the workplace
