Job summary

The Technical Sales Executive - Pumps & Pump Hire role is based in Totton, offering £45,000-£60,000 plus a Company Car. This is a full-time, permanent position with a leading national hire business, focusing on developing a regional customer base within the pumps division.

You will manage relationships, win new business, drive hire revenue, and collaborate with depot, regional and national sales teams to deliver technically suitable pump solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in hire industry preferred.
• Technical knowledge of pumps and pump hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with regional customers.
• Identify and win new business opportunities.
• Drive hire revenue across pumps and related equipment.
• Collaborate with depot and sales teams to identify opportunities.
• Engage senior decision-makers and procurement contacts.
• Deliver customer presentations when required.
• Attend customer sites, trade days and regional meetings.
• Understand requirements and provide technically suitable pump solutions.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales reporting.
• Coordinate with operations to ensure high service standards.
