Job summary

SER Limited in Yorkshire is seeking a Regional Technical Manager to lead Applications Engineering and Technical Sales across the Northern Region. The role focuses on improving machining processes, productivity, and tooling solutions rather than selling CNC machines.

You will lead and develop technical teams, drive tool trials, and build strong customer relationships across CNC milling, turning, and 3/5-axis applications in a hybrid, regional setup.

Qualifications

• CNC / metal cutting / manufacturing background.
• Technical sales, applications or engineering management experience.
• Working with customers on tool trials, machining solutions and engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining and cutting tools: milling, turning, drilling, threading and tooling systems.
• Leading, managing or developing technical teams.

Responsibilities

Salary :£65,000 + Company Car | Hybrid working

We are looking for an experienced Regional Technical Manager to lead Applications Engineering and Technical Sales teams across the Northern Region for a leading metalworking solutions business.

This is a technical leadership role within CNC metal cutting and manufacturing. The focus is on helping customers improve their machining processes, productivity and tooling solutions - not selling CNC machines themselves.

The Role
