Job summary

SES Engineering Services seeks a Regional Environmental and Sustainability Manager to embed sustainability across regional operations and support strategic centre initiatives. You will provide subject matter expertise, coach teams, drive performance, and implement SES's Environmental Sustainability Implementation Plan (ESIP).

Lead ESIP integration, monitor data, support bids, and promote learning and safe-by-design practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in environmental sustainability in the built environment, ideally within MEP.
• Knowledge of environmental legislation, carbon strategies, circularity, resource efficiency and nature positive approaches.
• Ability to analyse and interpret environmental data to inform decisions.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, able to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience delivering training, facilitating workshops and driving behavioural change.
• A degree in sustainability, environmental science, engineering or a related field; IEMA membership desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and embed SES's environmental sustainability strategy (ESIP) into planning, delivery and operational decision making across the region.
• Act as a subject matter expert in the centre sustainability team, helping drive accelerators and continuous improvement.
• Monitor and analyse project sustainability data, identifying local trends, risks and regional opportunities.
• Support the regional bid team with credible, high quality sustainability responses aligned to customer ambitions and SES goals.
• Provide functional support to the SHEQ team by developing learning and development opportunities.
• Identify environmental risks and promote safe by design principles across projects.
• Drive engagement with regional project teams, customers and supply chain partners on sustainability best practice.
• Facilitate regional training, upskilling and mentoring, building local sustainability capability and leading a network of champions.
