Job summary

inspiring vet care is seeking an Area Support Manager for Berkshire and Hampshire, a home-based role with extensive travel and a fixed-term 12-month contract. You will support the Area Director and partner practices from Reading to Hook, Basingstoke, Newbury and Andover, driving operational excellence and engagement.

The role focuses on enabling teams, guiding leaders, and delivering continuous improvement across the network.

Qualifications

• 2+ years coaching and mentoring experience with ability to motivate leaders
• Ability to understand Key financial KPIs and identify actions to improve performance
• Strong people skills and ability to collaborate across multiple sites
• Must hold a full and valid driving licence

Responsibilities

• Develop close working relationships with practice leaders and be the go-to person for troubleshooting within the area
• Maintain regular contact with practices to ensure teams feel supported
• Support practices through change related to brand rollout and CMA remedies
• Identify better ways of working to improve wellbeing and client experience
• Organise area meetings, agendas, materials and minutes; ensure actions are followed up
• Support practices’ use of dashboards and reporting to identify trends and opportunities
• Provide targeted support to underperforming sites and implement business plans
• Ensure leadership and performance frameworks are followed
• General admin including HR, recruitment support and H&S audits
