Job summary

Chartwells Independent is seeking a Regional Support Manager to lead and develop teams across multiple healthcare catering sites. This field-based role requires strong leadership, a passion for service excellence, and the ability to travel across the region.

Based along the M62 corridor, you will drive KPIs, coach managers, and support financial performance while upholding safety and compliance. A full UK driving license and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience as an Area Manager, Operations Manager, Regional Support Manager, or similar role within catering, hospitality, or food services.
• Proven experience supporting multiple sites across a geographical region.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial awareness and sound financial acumen.
• A track record of delivering high levels of client and customer satisfaction.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and developing teams across multiple healthcare catering sites.
• Driving operational excellence, service quality, and compliance.
• Building strong client relationships and ensuring contractual KPIs and SLAs are achieved.
• Coaching and developing managers to maximise team engagement and performance.
• Supporting financial performance, cost control, and business planning.
• Promoting a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and exceptional customer service.
• Deputising for the Regional Manager when required.
