Job summary

Anchor is seeking a Regional Support Manager to provide expert leadership across a portfolio of care homes, including acting as Registered Manager when required. You will drive service improvement, support teams through change, and help ensure residents receive outstanding, person-centred care.

The role involves coaching Home Managers, guiding CQC readiness, and building strong relationships with residents, families and local stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience managing residential care homes with successful teams
• Strong understanding of care quality and regulatory outcomes (CQC)
• Knowledge of safeguarding, care legislation and regulatory requirements
• Experience improving operational performance and service delivery
• Ability to build relations with residents, families and stakeholders
• Excellent coaching, communication and organisational skills
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly

Location: Regional role with regular travel across Leeds, Bradford and North Yorkshire

Contract: 37.5 hours per week | 6 month Fixed Term Contract

As a Regional Support Manager, you'll provide expert leadership to homes when they need it most—supporting teams through change, driving service improvement, and ensuring residents receive outstanding, person-centred care.

In this role, your work will be varied and impactful. You could be helping a new Home Manager settle into their role, leading a service improvement plan, supporting a home through a CQC inspection, or stepping in to provide management cover during periods of change. Wherever you are, you’ll play a vital role in helping our homes deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care while giving colleagues the confidence and support they need to flourish.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide operational leadership and management support across a portfolio of care homes, including acting as Registered Manager when required.

• Coach, mentor and develop Home Managers and Deputy Managers, building confidence and capability.

• Support regional projects and deputise for the District Manager when needed.

• Excellent coaching, communication and organisational skills.


• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
