Job summary

PPG is seeking a Multi-Store Area Manager to lead Store Operations Managers across a network of stores in the UK, delivering sales growth and exceptional customer service.

This field-based role covers Stevenage, Luton, Milton Keynes, Watford, Holloway, Romford, Edmonton and Barking, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will develop tactical plans, manage P&L, drive promotions, and share best practices to protect and grow market share.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in multi-site environments.
• Proven ability to manage P&L and drive sales growth.
• Operational experience in trade or retail.
• Strong planning, prioritisation and communication skills.
• Experience with CRM tools.
• Full UK driving licence (held 1+ year).

Responsibilities

• Deliver network strategic sales plan to drive growth across area.
• Lead Store Operations Manager and Sales Assistant teams.
• Identify opportunities to maximise sales while maintaining margin.
• Monitor opportunities using CRM tools.
• Assist with new hire digital onboarding.
• Conduct store visits and business reviews with store managers.
• Promote promotions to exceed area targets.
• Manage controllable costs, especially staff costs and inventory.
• Share best practices to drive regional improvements.
