Are you an enthusiastic, motivated individual with the ability to multitask and solve problems? If so, we have a great opportunity for you as a Regional Scheduler.
This role is 16 hours per week, working Mondays and Tuesdays, with a pro rata salary of £13,312 per annum.
You will be responsible for providing resilience within the Regional Scheduling team. Key responsibilities include maximising the efficient use of operational staff time by creating schedules that reduce mileage and fuel expenditure.
You will liaise with Wessex Water operational staff across multiple disciplines to help reduce overdue work. You will also be required to raise and prioritise work requests, as well as schedule planned maintenance activities.
In addition, you will provide regular updates to our customers to support our performance commitments.
The role requires candidates to engage with multiple IT systems, including Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Excel, Dynamics 365 and Teams, alongside internal software systems.
This role is 16 hours per week, working Mondays and Tuesdays, as part of a job share arrangement. Due to the reactive nature of some of the work, flexibility in working hours may occasionally be required. Our core scheduling team operates between 7:00am and 5:00pm.
We are looking for a team player with excellent multitasking skills and the ability to effectively resolve issues. Wessex Water prides itself on delivering exceptional customer service, so strong communication skills and a passion for helping customers are essential.
We operate within strict Service Level Agreements, so attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures are fundamental to everything we do. An understanding of Wessex Water's operational business would be advantageous. However, if you have the aptitude and approach to solve problems effectively under pressure, we will provide all the training and support you need to succeed in the role.
