You'll combine business development, relationship management and marketing with hands‑on operational oversight. You'll make sure the outcomes agreed at referral are delivered. This is a key role in our growth and reputation in neurological rehabilitation and complex care.
What You'll Do
- Be the primary point of contact for all referrals, managing each placement from referral and assessment through admission to the six-month review
- Make sure outcomes agreed at referral are documented, delivered and reviewed
- Coordinate assessments and admissions with our clinical, operational and care teams
- Build and maintain strong relationships with commissioners, case managers, local authorities, ICBs/NHS partners and other referral pathways
- Market our services across your region, working with our Marketing team on materials and promotion of the brand
- Raise awareness of our homes in the local community and, where appropriate, develop private customers
- Represent us at conferences, networking events and stakeholder meetings
- Put together bespoke care packages for complex care, ABI and behaviours that challenge, working directly with commissioners
- Manage the enquiries database and pipeline, forecasting conversion and staying in close contact with prospective residents and their families
- Work with senior leadership on occupancy, capacity, growth plans and regional expansion
- Provide regular and ad‑hoc reports on referral activity, pipeline and performance
- Deliver sales training to home teams so they understand the importance of high‑quality sales and marketing
About you
- Proven track record in social care, complex care or neurological rehabilitation
- Strong experience in referrals, placements, admissions or business development within care
- Experience of multi‑disciplinary working
- Excellent organisation, with the ability to manage multiple referrals at once
- Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
- Commercial awareness, including commissioning and funding structures
- Outcome‑focused, able to evidence delivery against agreed objectives
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region
Desirable
- Experience working with commissioners, case managers and ICBs
- Background in neurological rehabilitation or complex needs services
- Experience supporting service growth or regional development
You'll be dynamic, self‑motivated and results‑driven. You'll also be relationship‑focused, credible and professional, resilient and adaptable, and able to work autonomously. Above all, you'll be values‑led, with a commitment to person‑centred outcomes.
