Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection is seeking a proactive Area Sales Engineer to cover Northern England and Scotland. The role is home-based, requiring travel to meet customers and develop the regional pipeline for technical consumables and fasteners within industrial sectors.

You will manage existing customers and create new business, delivering product demonstrations and attending exhibitions to showcase solutions. A strong background in technical sales and distributor relationships is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven background of selling technical consumables into OEM's or manufacturers – directly or via industrial distributors.
• Experience developing new business and growing existing accounts.
• Comfortable delivering product demonstrations and attending exhibitions/trade shows.

Responsibilities

• Develop our Northern England territory to include Scotland within our industrial technologies division
• Account manage and develop new business with OEM's and distributors
• Identify your own leads and opportunities and follow up on inbound and marketing leads
• Utilising our CRM, you'll accurately forecast and manage your sales pipeline and produce your own quotations
• Collaborate effectively with the internal sales team, marketing, technical and operations
