Job summary

Sephora UK is seeking a Retail Operations Manager to drive smooth, scalable store operations across a designated region. You will partner with Store Managers to translate priorities into actions, ensure tools and ways of working land effectively, and help stores deliver a seamless customer experience.

The role blends regional focus with involvement in national projects and new openings. You’ll connect field and head office, champion continuous improvement, and contribute to Sephora’s bold UK

Qualifications

• Experience in a multi-site retail environment (beauty/fashion/lifestyle preferred).
• Strong understanding of store operations, stock processes, customer experience, compliance and safety.
• Proven ability to influence across store and head office teams.
• Experience supporting store openings or operational projects is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills for clear, actionable updates.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for a defined region of stores, providing practical support and guidance.
• Ensure national SOPs and policies are clearly communicated and consistently followed.
• Partner with Store Managers to identify challenges and drive timely solutions.
• Support day-to-day store operations including stockroom processes, compliance and safety routines.
• Monitor field performance, identify regional trends and share best practices.
• Support Senior Operations Manager with new store openings from pre-opening to go-live.
• Coordinate deliveries, equipment and training materials for opening day readiness.
• Assist rollout and adoption of retail tools and omni-channel systems (S1, mobile POS, Click & Collect).
• Navigate vendor relationships and support issue resolution with Senior Operations Manager.
• Ensure proper ordering and budgeting processes, flag variances and inefficiencies.
• Contribute to development and delivery of operational training and materials.
• Communicate operational updates clearly and meaningfully to stores.
• Conduct regular store visits to assess standards and report KPIs and risks.
