Job summary

Cedar Network & Data Solution is seeking a proactive Regional Relocation Officer to join the Housing Operations team in Bradford. You will coordinate relocations across an allocated region, working with councils, tenants, landlords and internal teams to move cases from referral through to move-in and tenancy sustainment.

The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple cases and a proactive problem-solving approach with attention to detail and record keeping.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing, relocation, tenancy support or a similar role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident speaking with councils, tenants, landlords and professionals.
• Strong organisational and case-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and competing priorities.
• Proactive, solution-focused approach and strong problem-solving.
• Attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, email and CRM/case-management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage housing referrals from initial enquiry through to successful move-in.
• Build and maintain relationships with councils, housing teams, landlords and referral partners.
• Identify suitable properties based on household requirements, location, affordability and availability.
• Coordinate property offers, viewings, acceptances and move-in arrangements.
• Communicate regularly with tenants and provide practical support throughout relocation.
• Work with Property, Repairs and Compliance teams to ensure properties are ready for occupation.
• Monitor vacant properties and promote available accommodation to councils and referral partners.
• Follow up referrals, offers and decisions to minimise delays and reduce void periods.
• Maintain accurate case records, trackers and documentation.
• Identify and escalate issues that may delay a placement or affect tenant safety.
• Provide regular updates to management on referrals, placements, voids and outstanding cases.
