Job summary

Cloud Online Recruitment seeks a Sales & Applications Engineer for the North of England. You will generate profitable regional contract works in refrigeration and process cooling, manage design and contracts, and expand the customer base across the North.

You must be highly mobile, with willingness to travel to Leeds, Manchester or Derby for day-to-day activities. You will support customers technically, design and quote solutions, and ensure margins are achieved at contract completion, while

Qualifications

• Recognised engineering/building services background required.
• Experience in refrigeration/process cooling industry preferred.
• Ability to design and quote for DX and pumped fluid solutions.

Responsibilities

• Widen the customer base and develop regional contract opportunities.
• Provide technical support for existing and potential customers.
• Design, project manage and discuss sales margins to meet contract outputs.
• Calculate heat loads and pipe sizes for cooling systems.
• Accurately estimate projects and tailor solutions to customer needs.
• Coordinate subcontract labour for installations and ensure financial outcomes.
• Plan and deliver projects to meet contractual commitments.
• Control work in progress and ensure timely completion.
• Recommend improvements to safety and technical standards.
• Verify supplier invoicing and prepare detailed sales invoices.
• Assist with ad-hoc and change projects throughout the year.
