Job summary

Career Makers Inc. is seeking an experienced Regional Quality Nurse to support nursing and residential services across Yorkshire, with regional travel.

This autonomous role focuses on improving clinical standards, supporting Home Managers, reviewing care plans and documentation, monitoring medication management, safeguarding and infection control. You will coach clinical staff, develop action plans and help services prepare for CQC inspections to ensure consistently high-quality, person-centred

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Strong nursing experience within adult social care or nursing homes.
• Good understanding of CQC requirements.
• Experience with clinical audits, governance or quality improvement.
• Strong knowledge of medication management, safeguarding and infection control.

Regional Quality Nurse

Location: Yorkshire, regional travel

Salary: £55,000 per annum

Hours: Full-time, Permanent

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Nurse to join a well-established care provider as a Regional Quality Nurse, supporting nursing and residential services across Yorkshire.

This is a varied, autonomous role focused on improving clinical standards, supporting Home Managers and nursing teams, and ensuring services deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete clinical and quality audits across multiple services
• Review care plans, risk assessments and clinical documentation
• Monitor medication management, safeguarding and infection control
• Identify clinical risks and areas for improvement
• Develop and monitor action plans
• Support Home Managers and nursing teams with clinical guidance
• Coach and develop clinical staff
• Support services with CQC compliance and inspection preparation
• Analyse quality data and identify trends
• Promote consistently high standards of clinical care

About You

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
• Strong nursing experience within adult social care or nursing homes
• Good understanding of CQC requirements
• Experience with clinical audits, governance or quality improvement
• Strong knowledge of medication management, safeguarding and infection control
• Confident supporting and coaching clinical teams
• Able to work autonomously across multiple locations
• Full UK driving licence and happy to travel throughout Yorkshire

Experience as a Regional Nurse, Quality Nurse, Clinical Lead, Peripatetic Nurse or Clinical Quality Manager would be particularly relevant.
