Job summary

Wates is seeking a Regional Quality Manager to support multiple construction projects across East Midlands, Yorkshire and North East. You will embed best practice, drive quality performance and ensure lessons learned are shared across the region from pre-construction through to handover.

You''ll collaborate with site teams, design and commercial colleagues to promote a proactive quality culture, deliver right-first-time outcomes and maintain high standards for clients and communities.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering medium to large construction projects in a Site Manager, Senior Site Manager, Site Engineer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, inspection and quality requirements.
• Passion for driving high standards and continuous improvement.
• Ability to influence and coach project teams at all levels.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Collaborative approach and desire to share knowledge and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Support quality management planning, implementation and improvement across the region.
• Provide guidance and coaching to operational teams to embed quality standards.
• Support inspections, audits, quality reviews and assurance activities, identifying improvements and sharing best practice.
• Help drive proactive quality culture, promoting early issue identification and right-first-time outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with site teams and ensure quality adds value for clients and communities.
