Job summary

Wates Group is seeking a Regional Quality Manager to lead quality management across East Midlands, Yorkshire and North East projects. You will partner with site teams to embed best practice, drive right-first-time delivery and ensure quality standards are understood from pre-construction through handover.

This role works across a portfolio of medium to large construction schemes, coaching operational teams, conducting inspections and audits, and sharing lessons learned to raise performance

Qualifications

Experience delivering medium to large construction projects in a Site Manager or similar role.
Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, inspection and quality requirements.
Ability to influence and coach project teams at all levels.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
A collaborative approach with a desire to share knowledge and best practice.

Responsibilities

Support planning, implementation and continual improvement of quality management processes across the region.
Provide guidance and coaching to operational teams to ensure quality standards are embedded.
Support inspections, audits, quality reviews and assurance activities.
Promote early identification of issues and drive right-first-time outcomes.
Build strong relationships with site teams to align quality with client outcomes.
