Wates Group is seeking an experienced Planning Manager to oversee planning across major construction projects in the East Midlands, Yorkshire and North East. The role shapes programme strategy, manages planning teams and drives delivery through robust planning and risk management.

You will collaborate with design, commercial and project teams from tender through to handover, mentor planning professionals and support bids and pre-construction to ensure projects meet time and cost objectives.

Qualificações

• Experience leading planning on large and complex construction projects.
• Experience in programme development and project controls.
• Proficiency with planning software (Primavera P6 and/or Asta Powerproject).
• Strong ability to build relationships and develop others.

Responsabilidades

• Lead planning activities across multiple projects, ensuring realistic, achievable programmes from tender to completion.
• Identify risks, opportunities and efficiencies; provide clear insights for decision-making.
• Support and develop Planning professionals across the region and drive best practice.
• Support bids and pre-construction activities; provide oversight during delivery for client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with design, operational and commercial teams to align planning with project objectives.
