D R Newitt & Associates in Manchester seeks a Regional QSHE Manager to lead quality, safety, health and environmental programs across multiple sites. Reporting to the Regional Director, you will drive compliance with UK HSE, COMAH/SEVESO, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, while building a strong safety culture through audits, training and stakeholder engagement.

Requires NEBOSH Diploma (CMIOSH preferred) and a chemistry-related degree.

Qualificações

• NEBOSH Diploma or working towards; CMIOSH status desirable.
• Degree in Chemistry or science-based subject preferred.
• DGSA knowledge or ADR exposure is advantageous.
• Extensive safety experience, ideally in chemical industry or COMAH/SEVESO sites.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement across levels.
• Full UK/EU driving licence with willingness to regional travel.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and influence a positive health, safety, security, environmental and quality culture across the region.
• Ensure full compliance with UK HSE regulations, COMAH/SEVESO directives, and industry standards.
• Conduct regular site audits, risk assessments, and major hazard analyses (HAZID, HAZOP, etc.).
• Provide guidance to site managers and act as Lead Incident Controller when required.
• Implement QSHE training and competency-building plans across all operational levels.
• Liaise with customers regarding safety inspections, site assessments, and compliance issues.
• Monitor performance metrics and continuously drive safety improvement initiatives.
• Manage regulatory inspections and maintain accreditations through robust systems and controls.
