Job summary

Life Services Group seeks a Regional Property Manager to oversee our estate across the South of the UK, with regional travel required. The role handles maintenance, compliance, and refurbishment projects to high standards, supporting frontline funeral teams.

You will balance reactive issues with planned maintenance, manage budgets, and collaborate with Funeral Operations leaders to drive continuous improvement and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in property, estates, facilities, or construction management across dispersed portfolios.
• Strong understanding of statutory compliance, risk assessments, and Health & Safety.
• MRICS (or working towards), or equivalent practical professional experience.
• Competent with Microsoft Office; experience with PPM systems or property audit software is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and lifecycle planning across a large, multi-site funeral operations estate.
• Scope, plan, and manage refurbishment and improvement works, delivering on time, on budget, and to high quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with Building Control, CDM, and Health & Safety legislation.
• Act as main contact for reactive repairs and ensure quick, safe resolutions.
• Carry out regular property inspections to identify risks, improvement opportunities, and investment needs.
• Manage and monitor contractors with adherence to Dignity standards.
• Build regional capital and revenue budgets with forecasting and financial reporting.
• Produce regular updates for Heads of Region, Cluster Leaders, Care Centre Teams, and Central Operations.
• Drive continuous improvement and embed preventative maintenance culture.
