Job summary

Gleeson Homes is seeking an Assistant Buyer in Nottingham to support regional procurement efforts and contribute to the build plan. You will work with the Commercial Director and Regional Buyer, gaining exposure to budgeting and growth planning while developing procurement skills in a leading housebuilder.

Qualifications

• Understanding of house building processes and standards.
• Strong financial and commercial awareness.
• Knowledge of current technical and design regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist regional buyer with procurement administration and policy compliance.
• Support reporting and material/site procurement as per start dates.
• Manage supplier partnerships and ensure timely orders; resolve invoice queries with stakeholders.
