Job summary

Greenwood Academies Trust is seeking an exceptional Regional Premises Manager to lead the estates service across seven academies in the Peterborough region and to support other sites within the Trust. The role blends site visits with home-based planning and requires strong communication with Principals, Premises Staff and external partners.

Hybrid working is offered, with roughly three days on site and two days from home.

Qualifications

• Experience in estates, facilities, property or premises management.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
• Strong customer service skills in a school environment.
• Sound safeguarding knowledge within school environments, including safe management of contractors.
• Understanding of statutory compliance within educational buildings, including health and safety.
• Experience managing maintenance programmes and planned works.
• Proven project management experience delivering improvements and maintenance projects.
• Experience procuring, managing and overseeing contractors.
• Demonstrable line management and development of small teams.
• Excellent organisational skills across multiple sites.
• Strong IT skills for compliance systems and SMART campus planning.
• Full UK driving licence, access to a vehicle and willingness to travel across the Trust.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional estates teams across multiple academies, building strong relationships with Principals and staff.
• Oversee maintenance programmes and execute improvement projects across sites.
• Procure, manage and monitor external contractors and works while pupils are on site.
• Coordinate across Academy Leadership Teams to ensure estates services are safe, compliant and operationally effective.
• Support the SMART campus strategy with robust compliance and reporting.
