Job summary

Jackson Civil Engineering Ltd is seeking an experienced Regional Planner for our Northern Region, based at the Chesterfield office with hybrid/home working options. You will manage and update project programmes, interface with site teams and regional management, and support bid and contract activities to ensure timely delivery.

You will bring strong planning skills in civil engineering, experience with MS Project or ASTA, and a good understanding of NEC contracts.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and managing civil engineering projects.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Project and/or Asta planning software.
• Sound understanding of NEC contracts.
• Experience reviewing programmes, managing changes and supporting contractual claims.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with site teams and management.
• Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Review project programmes monthly to ensure changes are captured and recorded.
• Maintain up-to-date programmes to meet contractual requirements and progress.
• Review site records, notices, and contractually compliant programme submissions.
• Support entitlement and EOT claims with site teams.
• Provide planning advice and support to pre-contract tender teams when needed.
• Mentor team members wishing to progress.
