Job summary

Priory Group is seeking a Peripatetic Manager for Adult Care North, Scotland and Northern Ireland. This remote regional leadership role requires extensive travel to oversee services without permanent management, ensuring high standards of care, regulatory compliance, and financial performance.

The role covers Scotland, Northern Ireland, and parts of Northern England, with frequent site visits and collaboration with senior teams to drive quality improvements and service development.

Qualifications

• Registered Manager with significant social care leadership experience.
• Detailed knowledge of regulatory and statutory requirements in social care.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a matrix organisation and deliver continuous improvement.
• Experience leading care home or supported living operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the service meets all legal and statutory requirements and correct display of notices.
• Ensure regulatory/commissioning body standards are achieved and staff are trained accordingly.
• Maintain service user documentation and records with timely, meaningful activity programmes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with senior management and cross-functional colleagues.
• Ensure staff are registered, checks completed, and right to work documented.
• Recruit and roster staff to meet service user needs; induct and train staff to meet standards.
• Lead implementation of new services, drive referrals and share best practices.
• Manage budget to maximise income and control costs and expenditure.
• Support Home Managers in day-to-day operations ensuring quality, safety and regulatory compliance.
