Job summary

NHS Central East Integrated Care Board is seeking an obstetric and neonatal consultant to join the Senior Leadership Team on a fixed-term 18-month contract. Qualifications

• Current professional registration and senior clinical expertise in obstetrics or neonatal care.
• Consultant-level experience or equivalent senior clinical leadership experience.
• Experience leading system-level transformation and governance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight to the perinatal pathway, ensuring quality and safety.
• Lead system integration and foster collaboration across organisations to improve pathways and population health.
• Drive quality improvement, reduce unwarranted variation and ensure governance and performance management.
• Act as a steward of resources, supporting place-based delivery and equity in outcomes.
