Regional People Partnerships Director (UK Remote)

We are seeking a Regional People Partnerships Director to join our Global People Team, primarily based in EMEA (willing to work EMEA hours). This role reports to the Senior Director, Global People Partnerships, serving as the People Business Partner for our EMEA operations and supporting globally as needed. The role involves partnering with leadership and teams to provide tactical support and strategic leadership across the employee lifecycle, with a focus on employment law, employee relations, engagement, and inclusion, especially within UK and EMEA regions.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Acting as a trusted advisor to operational partners and the people team, ensuring a cohesive approach to employee relations.
• Developing strong stakeholder relationships with managers to support their responsibilities.
• Supporting the delivery and operationalization of the People Strategy, including coaching and development for managers.
• Driving operational and transformational efforts to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Implementing plans and OKRs to improve metrics like turnover, retention, and diversity.
• Advising on organizational design to meet operational goals.
• Collaborating with Talent Acquisition to forecast talent needs and ensure a strong pipeline.
• Researching best practices to enhance people practices within Turnitin.
• Supporting the broader GPP team as needed.
• Managing change initiatives, documenting processes, and leveraging data for decision-making.
• Communicating proactively and transparently across all levels.

Qualifications include:

• 10+ years of global HR experience in multicultural environments, managing multiple countries and remote workers.
• Extensive employee relations experience across various countries.
• Experience in SaaS or technology industries is preferred.
• Strategic thinking with tactical execution skills.
• Flexibility to work hours aligning with broader team needs and willingness to travel.
• Strong problem-solving, operational knowledge of employment law, and technological savviness.
• Data literacy and excellent communication skills, including with C-suite stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, with SHRM/CIPD membership preferred.

Preferred but not required:

• Experience with Google Suite, BambooHR, or advanced degrees in HR.
