Job summary

J.S. Held is seeking a Regional Payroll & Benefits Specialist (EMEA & APAC) to join our Global Payroll team.

This role requires strong UK payroll experience and the ability to manage payroll operations across several international locations, with focus on Spain, Germany, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, India, and Singapore. The position is hybrid, with a preference for London-based candidates for in-person collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• Proven UK payroll experience including tax, pensions, and benefits administration.
• Experience processing multi-country payroll across EMEA, with external payroll providers.
• Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, controls, and best practices.
• Experience managing payroll changes including hires, terminations, salary changes, and deductions.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with payroll systems and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain payroll records and process changes for hires, terminations, salary updates, benefits and deductions.
• Manage end-to-end payroll across multiple countries in EMEA/APAC.
• Coordinate with external payroll providers and internal stakeholders for timely payroll delivery.
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports to Finance, HR, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, company policies, and internal controls.
• Support payroll-related audits, reconciliations, and process improvements.
• Produce ad hoc reports and analyses to support business needs.
• Support day-to-day administration of regional benefits.
