Job summary

AMR - Specialist Property Recruiters is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to lead the operational performance of a regional property portfolio. You will manage and develop a team of Senior Property Managers and Property Managers, ensuring service delivery, compliance and resident satisfaction.

This senior leadership role requires strategic oversight across maintenance, compliance, lettings and finance, with a focus on continuous improvement, performance reporting and portfolio growth.

Qualifications

• Senior property management or operations experience.
• Strong residential property management knowledge.
• Experience leading and developing teams.
• Understanding of property compliance and legislation.
• Experience managing contractors and suppliers.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive and commercially aware approach.
• Ability to manage multiple properties and priorities.
• Full UK driving licence would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational performance of a regional property portfolio.
• Manage, coach and develop Property Managers and Senior Property Managers.
• Monitor KPIs, service levels, compliance and overall operational performance.
• Ensure statutory property compliance requirements are met.
• Oversee escalated resident complaints and complex tenancy matters.
• Manage contractor and supplier performance.
• Conduct property inspections and operational reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
• Support the mobilisation of new properties and portfolio growth.
• Produce performance reports and provide updates to senior management.
• Work closely with Maintenance, Compliance, QA, Lettings and Finance teams.

About the Role

On behalf of my client, I am seeking an experienced Regional Operations Manager to take responsibility for the operational performance of a regional property portfolio.

This is a senior leadership role, managing and developing a team of Senior Property Managers and Property Managers while ensuring high standards of service delivery, compliance, resident satisfaction and operational performance.

The successful candidate will be confident leading teams, managing performance, identifying operational improvements and working collaboratively across maintenance, compliance, lettings and finance functions.
