Ark Start is seeking an Area Manager to lead a group of nurseries, champion high-quality early years practice, and shape the future of our growing network. You will provide strategic leadership and hands-on support to Nursery Managers across a region, ensuring outstanding safeguarding, compliance, and educational provision.

You will own a specialist area such as assessment, curriculum, or staff training, driving continuous improvement and innovation while cultivating a culture where staff thrive

Qualifications

• Qualified at Level 3 or above in childcare setting.
• Level 6 qualification desirable for advanced practice.
• Experience leading multi-site nurseries and teams.
• Strong safeguarding, EYFS knowledge and regulatory compliance.
• Experience driving quality improvement and performance.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership and operational oversight across a region of Ark Start nurseries.
• Line manage and coach Nursery Managers to drive performance and development.
• Ensure Ofsted readiness and regulatory compliance across the region.
• Oversee safeguarding and SEND provision with robust processes and documentation.
• Develop staff through training, mentoring, and professional development.
