All team members are carefully selected for their warmth and passion, undergo full induction, and receive ongoing training from our in-house trainers and the New Care Academy. We have maintained zero agency staff usage for over four years by employing a permanent team that knows and trusts our residents.

We are seeking to appoint a kind, compassionate, and caring Regional Registered Nurse to support our Home Managers and Deputy Managers across multiple locations. The role involves providing leadership to the care team and managing the home effectively on a 24-hour basis. The position is full-time, offering an excellent rate of £25.00 per hour. Benefits include paid NMC fees, paid breaks and handovers, bank holiday and overtime enhancements, paid training, support with revalidation, and free onsite parking. The role requires travel across our care homes in Chester, Formby, Greater Manchester, Lytham St Annes, Stockport, Worsley, Cheshire, Nottingham, and Leeds, so a full driving license and personal vehicle are necessary.

  • Act as a role model and demonstrate person-centred care.
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of adults in contact with the service.
  • Manage the delivery of personalised care plans for residents.
  • Support professional standards within the home, assisting the Deputy and Home Manager.
  • Provide supervision, coaching, and assessment to Senior Care Assistants and Care Assistants.
  • Ensure effective assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care through written care plans.
  • Maintain accurate records as required by company and regulatory standards.
  • Manage daily rotas and delegate workload appropriately.
  • Complete new admission files within one week of arrival, involving the named nurse, senior carer, and key worker.
  • Build relationships with external professionals.
  • Assist in conducting regular quality audits of care plans.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Experience in Elderly care is essential.
  • Confidence and flexibility.
  • Registered Nurse with a valid PIN.
  • Knowledge of caring for older adults and ability to supervise and coach team members.
  • Professional appearance and manner.
  • Ability to coordinate, motivate, and prioritize tasks, including handling emergencies.

The Benefits:

  • Opportunities for career progression into senior and management roles.
  • Enhancements for bank holidays and overtime.
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave.
  • Paid DBS check.
  • Uniform provided.
  • Paid training and ongoing support for nationally recognized qualifications.
  • Referral schemes, recognition awards, and employee of the month programs.
  • Cycle to work scheme, Christmas bonuses, and pay on demand options.
