Nurse required. My client is a well-respected Health Care Provider with 6 care communities across the North-West. With over a decade of experience, they have been providing specialist care to people living with Alzheimers, mental health issues, alcohol and drug dependencies, and with the need for rehabilitation. Christian values are important to my client, guiding everything they do when putting resident needs at the heart of their operations. This service has 150 beds in total; each separate unit has 30 beds, and each unit has a unit manager, nurses, and care staff who work only on that unit, building small family-like environments. This service looks after older adults with dementia and nursing needs.

Nurse Duties:

• Provide nursing care under the direction of the Manager in accordance with current best practice, legislative requirements, and all policy, procedures, and agreed standards.
• Develop the Care Planning activities for residents to meet their changing needs, in collaboration with their family and friends (where appropriate) and members of the multi-disciplinary team.
• Ensure the care needs of residents are met in a way that respects their dignity and privacy, providing person-centred care that promotes independence and choice.
• Undertake all aspects of medicine management in line with legal, professional, and regulatory requirements.
• Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support.

Nurse Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with Valid Pin
• Excellent knowledge of all Standards and NMC code of practice
• Proven track record of person-centred care planning
• Experienced leader and mentor
• A passion for delivering high standards of care
