Job summary

Balhousie Care Group in Scotland is seeking a Regional Nurse to travel between our care homes, delivering high-quality nursing care to residents and supporting teams.

You will develop tailored care plans, administer medications safely, and make clinical decisions while upholding safety and dignity. PVG check and UK work authorization required; previous care home experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified RGN/RMN with a valid NMC pin.
• Experience as staff nurse in a care home is preferred.
• Organised with great communication skills and flexible to work shifts.

About the Role:

As a Regional Nurse, you’ll travel to a number of homes across our portfolio to provide exceptional care to our residents, attending to their physical, psychological, and social needs to help us deliver the quality of care they deserve.

We’ll rely on you to create a safe and supportive environment for residents with a range of physical and mental health needs, while also using your professional judgment to make critical clinical decisions. Your responsibilities will range from developing tailored care plans to providing medicine safely and ensuring excellence in all you do. You’ll have the autonomy to do things the right way and be valued and respected for your contributions.

About You:

You should be a qualified RGN/RMN with a valid NMC pin and a good knowledge of the most up-to-date clinical practices. Experience as a staff nurse or registered nurse in a care home environment is preferred. What’s just as important is that you’re organised, have great communication skills, and are flexible enough to work shifts.
