Job summary
Voyage Care is seeking a Maintenance Operative to join our Property & Facilities team, supporting multiple services across the region. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance to keep environments safe and well‑maintained, with a company van provided and regional travel responsibilities.
You will carry out checks for fire safety and legionella compliance, log tasks in CAFM, and work independently to meet SLAs while delivering strong customer service to Service and Operations Managers.
Qualifications
- Experience as Maintenance Operative/Handyperson in multi-site role.
- General multi-trade skills: plumbing, joinery, basic electrical tasks.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and compliance.
- Proficient with IT systems (MS Office, CAFM).
- Full Clean UK Driving Licence is essential.
Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across sites.
- Complete fire safety, legionella and compliance checks.
- Log and track tasks in CAFM system.
- Travel between services and meet SLAs.
- Ensure van stock and equipment are managed.
- Provide service to Service and Operations Managers.
