Job summary
Andrews Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Mobile) to support multiple production sites across the Midlands. You will perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance, fault finding and repairs on motors, drives and control panels to minimise downtime.
You'll work across quarrying, readymix, recycling and heavy engineering environments, with regional travel and no regular overnight stays.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
- Experience fault finding on industrial electrical systems.
- Knowledge of motors, drives, PLC-controlled equipment and industrial control systems.
- Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Responsibilities
- Planned and reactive electrical maintenance.
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults.
- Working on motors, control panels, drives and industrial electrical equipment.
- Supporting continuous improvement projects.
- Carrying out inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Recording maintenance activities using a CMMS.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.
