Job summary
Andrews Recruitment Group is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Mobile) to support heavy industrial sites across the Midlands. The role involves fault finding, planned and reactive maintenance, and working on motors, drives, and PLC-controlled equipment.
A regional travel pattern offers variety and long-term stability without regular overnight stays. You will maintain electrical systems, record activities in a CMMS, and collaborate with site operations to minimise downtime and maximise
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
- 18th Edition BS7671.
- Experience fault-finding on industrial electrical systems.
- Knowledge of motors, drives and PLC-controlled equipment.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Experience in heavy industrial environments preferred.
Responsibilities
- Planned and reactive electrical maintenance across multiple sites.
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults.
- Working on motors, drives, control panels and industrial equipment.
- Supporting continuous improvement projects.
- Carrying out inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Recording maintenance activities using a CMMS.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with procedures.
