Job summary

Andrews Recruitment Group is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Mobile) to service multiple industrial sites across the Midlands. The role involves fault finding, planned and reactive maintenance, and working on motors, drives, and control panels.

You'll join a heavy industry environment (quarrying, readymix, recycling, cement, concrete, steel) with regional travel and no overnight stays, offering training, overtime and long-term career stability.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
• Experience fault finding on industrial electrical systems.
• Knowledge of motors, drives and PLC-controlled equipment.

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive electrical maintenance across multiple sites.
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults to minimise downtime.
• Work on motors, control panels, drives and associated equipment.
• Support continuous improvement projects and TPM activities.
• Record maintenance activities in a CMMS and follow safety procedures.
