Job summary

Andrews Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Mobile) to support multiple production sites across the Midlands. You will perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance, fault finding, and work on motors, drives and control panels.

This regional mobile role offers variety, autonomy and long-term career stability with no regular overnight stays. A full UK driving licence is required and a strong focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3/Apprenticeship in electrical engineering required or equivalent.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) knowledge.
Experience fault finding on industrial electrical systems.
Knowledge of motors, drives, PLC-controlled equipment and industrial control systems.
Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance.
Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Planned and reactive electrical maintenance.
Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults.
Working on motors, control panels, drives and industrial electrical equipment.
Supporting continuous improvement projects.
Carrying out inspections and preventative maintenance.
Working closely with site operations and maintenance teams.
Recording maintenance activities using a CMMS.
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.
