Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide technical guidance, remote diagnostic evaluations, and proactive problem solving for MI-SPECT equipment. You will work with field representatives, mentor junior technicians, and contribute to knowledge dissemination.

The role requires travel and on-call shifts to support customers globally. The position emphasizes collaboration across teams, adherence to service leadership culture, and delivering reliable, high‑quality service

Qualifications

• Associates degree or vocational training in Electronics or Biomed Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Technical proficiency in repair of Siemens MI SPECT equipment (10 years).
• Firm knowledge of DICOM, networking, Microsoft products.
• Travel required for customer meetings and technical repair 10%.
• English & Spanish speaking a must.

Responsibilities

• Technical guidance and documentation of customer and Field Service Engineer calls placed with the Uptime Service Center.
• Remote diagnostic evaluations of MI-SPECT and equipment.
• Identify problems and provide action plans for highly complex problems and incidents to aid field representative in finding solution.
• Preempt potential problems and provide effective solutions.
• Work with minimal direction from management.
• Mentor and provide technical operational leadership to TST 1, TST 2, TST 3.
