About The Role

We are seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance activities and personnel across our Midlands sites. This role includes managing mobile equipment and static plant machinery.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety rules, including plant isolation, lock-off procedures, and safe access.
• Planning and maintaining statutory inspections on sites.
• Developing and implementing maintenance plans to keep plant in good working order.
• Ensuring adherence to maintenance plans across all facilities in the region.
• Conducting regular audits to ensure maintenance standards are met.
• Reporting weekly to the regional operations manager on site compliance.
• Managing maintenance personnel, ensuring appropriate staffing and skills.
• Managing and delivering site improvement projects.
• Liaising with external contractors and site managers for planned maintenance and repairs.
• Conducting root cause analysis on equipment failures to prevent future issues.
• Reviewing critical spares holdings to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Developing reporting tools with site and regional managers to track unplanned downtime.
• Implementing and delivering a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) across the region.
• Creating and executing failure reduction plans.
• Collaborating with regional managers on site development plans.
• Providing reactive support during downtime events.
