Job summary

The Range is seeking an Assistant Loss Prevention Manager to cover Scotland and surrounding areas, including Livingston. You will lead a security team, train Store Detectives and Uniform Officers, and work with Store & Area Managers to reduce stock loss and drive profitability.

You will travel to focus stores based on risk, conduct LP health checks, and provide data-driven insights while handling incidents professionally and ensuring compliance across our retail network.

Responsibilities

• Coach store colleagues and managers to support stock loss targets.
• Travel to focus stores proportionate to stock loss risk.
• Conduct LP health checks to improve processes and compliance.
• Provide data insights to help store teams identify opportunities.
• Support theft incidents and investigations for Regional LP Managers.
• Identify, deter, detain, and handle shoplifting safely and professionally.
• Lead surveillance operations across the retail network.
• Recruit, line-manage, train and develop Store Detectives and Uniform Officers.
• Generate detailed incident reports and collate evidence for prosecutions.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
• Assist with new store openings and launches.
