Job Description

Egis is looking for a Regional Learning & Development Specialist to support the deployment of our Group Learning & Development strategy across the EURA region.

Reporting to the Regional HRD, this role will act as a key link between Corporate Learning & Development, regional HR, country HR teams and business leaders. You will help translate Group priorities into practical regional learning programmes that support business performance, workforce transformation and future skills.

A key focus of the role will be preparing our workforce for AI-driven transformation. This includes supporting AI upskilling, digital capability development, responsible use of new technologies and the transition towards augmented ways of working, where human judgement, expertise and accountability remain central.

This is a regional role that requires strong business partnering, structure and execution. You will work across multiple countries and stakeholders to understand capability needs, build regional learning plans, support learning transformation and ensure learning activity is consistent, engaging and measurable.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a trusted Learning & Development advisor to the Regional HRD, HR Directors, HR teams and business leaders across EURA
  • Consolidating capability needs across countries, functions and business areas
  • Translating Group L&D priorities into regional learning programmes aligned to business priorities, workforce transformation and future skills
  • Building and managing the annual regional training plan
  • Managing the regional L&D budget and ensuring learning investment is prioritised effectively
  • Deploying regional learning programmes and adapting global programmes to the regional context
  • Supporting learning design and programme development based on business and capability requirements
  • Leading L&D transformation and change activity across the region
  • Driving adoption of the Oracle / EARTH Learning module, including system usage, data accuracy, reporting and learning administration standards
  • Using learning data and insight to monitor engagement, performance, learning impact and areas for improvement
  • Supporting regional initiatives across AI, digital capability and future skills
  • Promoting continuous learning, responsible innovation, communities of practice and responsible AI use
  • Partnering with HR and business stakeholders to ensure learning activity supports performance, engagement, succession and capability development
  • Contributing to Group-level consolidated reporting and KPIs
  • Travel across EURA regions will be required
Qualifications

We are looking for someone with strong Learning & Development experience, ideally gained within an international, regional or multi-country environment.

You will bring a practical and business-focused approach to L&D, with the ability to turn business priorities into clear learning plans, capability programmes and workforce development activity.

You will ideally have:

  • 7–10 years’ experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, Capability Development or a similar role
  • Experience working in an international, regional or multi-country environment, ideally within engineering, consulting, infrastructure, construction, operations or another technical environment
  • Experience building and managing annual learning plans aligned to business priorities
  • Strong business partnering skills, with experience working directly with HRDs, HR teams, senior stakeholders and business leaders
  • A good understanding of AI, digital transformation, future skills or workforce transformation
  • Experience using a Learning Management System, HR system or learning technology to manage learning activity, reporting and data quality
  • A data-driven mindset, with the ability to measure learning activity, engagement and impact
  • Strong change management capability, particularly around adoption of digital tools, learning systems or transformation initiatives
  • The ability to bring structure to complex requirements across multiple countries and translate them into clear plans and deliverables
  • Fluent English, with strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience with Oracle HCM, Oracle Learning or EARTH would be beneficial. Additional European language capability would also be advantageous.

Additional information

This role forms part of the regional Learning & Development model for EURA and will play an important role in connecting Group L&D strategy with regional business needs.

You will work closely with Corporate L&D, the Regional HRD, country HR teams and business leaders to support a consistent, data-led and future-focused learning approach across the region.

The role will have a particular focus on AI readiness, future skills, digital learning adoption and measurable impact on capability, performance and employee engagement.

You will be expected to work in a hybrid model in our London Waterloo office, 3 days a week.
