Job summary

Stephen James Consulting is seeking an experienced Regional Manager to oversee a portfolio of elderly care homes in the South-East, joining the Senior Leadership Team to drive quality and governance across services.

You will support Home Managers, maintain exceptional care standards, andlead clinical governance initiatives while contributing to long-term portfolio success. Salary £75,000–£80,000 with car allowance, dependent on experience.

Qualifications

Proven regional management experience in elderly care.
Registered Nurse with NMC PIN (not essential).
Strong track record of improving quality and supporting Home Managers.
Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations, clinical governance and compliance.

Responsibilities

Providing leadership and operational oversight across a portfolio of nursing, residential and dementia care homes
Providing strong clinical leadership to support safe, effective and person-centred care
Supporting and developing Home Managers to deliver high-quality services
Driving quality improvement in CQC outcomes, clinical governance and regulatory compliance
Monitoring performance, identifying risk, and implementing corrective action plans
Supporting services through clinical, staffing and operational challenges
Working closely with senior leadership to deliver agreed quality and business objectives
