Mitie Group plc. is seeking a proactive Lead Engineer to lead the Fire & Security team across the region. You will guide engineering staff, ensure compliance, and drive service delivery and continuous improvement.

The role involves resource planning, site surveys, and coordinating with regional management to uphold quality, reliability, and professionalism. Strong leadership and technical expertise are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Proven team leadership and line management experience with toolbox talks.
• Strong organisational skills to plan in line with schedules.
• Confident communicator with customers and stakeholders.
• Technically competent across fire and security systems.
• Experience deputising for senior roles.

Responsibilities

• Ensure performance and service align with compliance and monthly schedules.
• Respond to customer needs and complaints with urgency.
• Lead toolbox talks and maintain compliance records.
• Attend site surveys and manage handovers with RSM.
• Organise call-out rota and coordinate minor works.
• Support engineers with stock control and quotations.
• Assist with bespoke projects and on-time delivery.
• Promote high standards and ownership of service delivery.
• Provide technical support to DRS and Sales with quotations.
• Plan ppm on large/complex sites and meetings with customers.
