Job summary

Ipsum is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to lead HR strategy for a defined North West region, partnering with senior leaders to drive business performance through effective people strategies.

You will oversee workforce planning, organisational development, employee engagement, leadership capability, and change management, delivering a high‑quality HR service while ensuring statutory compliance and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of employment law and partnering with leaders to drive people strategies.
• Experience leading organisational change, restructures, and TUPE processes; payroll exposure is beneficial.
• Experience using HR analytics to inform decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to develop and deliver people strategies aligned to business goals and regional priorities.
• Provide expert guidance on organisational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and organisational effectiveness.
• Coach and support leaders to strengthen leadership capability, people management skills, and team performance.
• Lead complex employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes.
• Drive organisational change initiatives, including restructures, acquisitions, integrations, and TUPE transfers.
• Support talent management, succession planning, and the attraction, development, and retention of key talent.
• Lead employee engagement, wellbeing, diversity, and inclusion initiatives to enhance culture and employee experience.
• Utilise people data, HR systems, and workforce analytics to provide insight and inform business decision‑making.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, payroll governance, and HR best practice while driving continuous improvement across HR service delivery.
