Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is recruiting a Network HR Assistant to support our B&Q retail logistics operation across multiple sites in the UK.

You will manage day-to-day employee lifecycle tasks, from contracts and onboarding to variations and leavers, ensuring GDPR-compliant records and accurate HR data. The role is part-time (37.5 hours/week) with a focus on consistency, accuracy and strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume HR assistant or coordinator role.
• Good working knowledge of HR systems and employment documentation.
• CIPD Level 3 is desirable with support for further development.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end HR assistance across multiple sites, including contracts, variations, starters, leavers, right-to-work checks, references, and probation tracking
• Maintain accurate HR systems and personnel files, ensuring GDPR compliance at all times
• Support employee relations activity by preparing documentation, tracking case timelines, and note-taking at meetings
• Coordinate recruitment and onboarding activities, including adverts, interviews, offers and pre-employment checks
• Produce regular HR reports including headcount, starters/leavers, absence and probation milestones
