Position: Regional Health & Safety Manager

Location: Peterborough (with travel to Milton Keynes)

Customer: DHL Finished Vehicle Solutions

Work Pattern: Monday-Friday. Daytime hours

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking an experienced Health & Safety and Facilities Manager to ensure the continuous development and execution of Health and Safety across the business within Finished Vehicle Solutions.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your duties, you will:

1. Provide HSE & BCM guidance and support to ensure site compliance with relevant legislation.
2. Guide and support site management to maintain and improve HSE & BCM standards.
3. Identify, assess, and implement actions to reduce injuries, motor incidents, and claims.
4. Ensure appropriate HSE & BCM advice and support is provided to sites.
5. Monitor information accuracy in Logics and produce trend analysis for sites.
6. Stay updated on Health & Safety legislation and inform management.
7. Develop and maintain risk assessments and safe systems of work.
8. Collaborate with contractors to ensure compliance and site maintenance.
9. Review and ensure consistent facility management across sites.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

1. Experience in Health & Safety within operational settings is desirable.
2. Experience with Finished Vehicle Solutions is desirable.
3. NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent (candidates working towards NEBOSH are also considered).
4. Responsibility for H&S in warehouse and transport environments, with a focus on standards.
5. Stakeholder management skills.
6. Willingness to travel within the area and beyond as needed.
