You will oversee governance, risk, audits and performance improvements across multiple contracts within a major highway portfolio.

Qualifications

• Hold a NEBOSH Diploma, NVQ Level 6 or equivalent.
• CMIOSH or working towards Chartered status.
• Senior HSW leadership across multi-site operations.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Influence senior stakeholders, clients and operational teams.
• Experience developing and leading high-performing teams.
• Infrastructure experience within highway/Rail/Defence/Aviation portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Lead Health, Safety & Wellbeing across the region, guiding operational teams and supporting senior management decisions.
• Strengthen governance and risk management; oversee audits and assurance.
• Analyse performance trends and lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Develop HSW teams; build relationships with clients and regulators; embed improvements across contracts.
• Drive a proactive safety culture and ensure lessons learned improve performance across the portfolio.
