Job summary

The Guinness Partnership in Oldham is seeking a Health and Safety Officer on a full-time, permanent basis to support the North East region. You will provide expert safety guidance, conduct audits and investigations, and help manage risks across our housing and workplaces.

The role requires NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma (or equivalent) and IOSH membership, with travel across the North East region and a valid UK driving licence. Training and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma or equivalent.
• Membership of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice and support on health and safety to managers and colleagues.
• Undertake audits and inspections to ensure compliance with legislation and best practice.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses to determine root causes and corrective actions.
• Identify, assess and manage risks to employees, residents, contractors and the public.
• Travel across the North East region, supporting multiple sites from the Oldham office.
